  • World Language Competency Registration Form for WLCT- Written Test 1 2025-26

  • Testing district-wide will be held once this school year at each high school between November 2025 and January 2026. This registration form is for the WLCT - Written Test 1.
    Please complete this form to register for World Language Competency. This testing opportunity is open to current Northshore School District 9th-12th graders. Registered students will receive more information about scheduling and preparing for the test once all registrations have been received and processed.

    **IMPORTANT: You should pay your testing fee first using Touchbase before filling out this form. If you qualify for Free and Reduced Meals, you will still need to visit the bookkeeper to get a receipt.**

    The WLCT process consists of two tests. Every student who registers will take WLCT - Written Test 1. Based on their results, those who qualify can move on and take the WLCT - Speaking Test 2. If you qualify to take the speacking test, we will schedule that for you. This google form is for WLCT - Written Test 1.

    IMPORTANT!!! -- This year, the Northshore School District is charging a fee of $80 for each test ordered.  If your family qualifies for free/reduced lunch, you qualify to have that fee waived.
  • Explaining the Test and Fees

    The World Language Test is given in two parts, each of which cost $80 and are scheduled separately. To start the process, everyone takes the written test (that is what you are registering for today) and there is a $80 fee for the written test. Should the student score well enough to move on to the second part (the verbal/oral test), the school testing coordinator will reach out separately to the student to schedule this; and the student will need to pay the second $80 test fee.
