ADA Accommodations for Graduation Ceremonies 2026
  • ADA Accommodations for Graduation Ceremonies 2026

  • ADA Accessibility: Congratulations to the class of 2026! We are committed to making the ceremonies a positive and comfortable experience for everyone, and we understand that some guests may need accessibility assistance.

    • Pop Keeney Stadium has entrance ramps on the south side for wheelchair access. The bottom row of the south side has ten designated spaces for wheelchairs and walkers, and the first five rows in the bleachers are reserved for those with limited mobility. The Field Seating along the sidelines on the turf field are intended for individuals with mobility challenges and for wheelchairs and walkers. These guests can sit on the field along with one companion. Larger groups may need to split up if they wish to sit in these reserved sections.
    • The Northshore Concert Hall and the Performing Arts Center have limited designated wheelchair seating as well.
    • To reserve seating in these areas, please fill out the survey so that we can make the necessary arrangements. You will receive a message with further instructions about a week before the ceremony, once your request has been processed.
    • Additionally, we provide ASL interpreters for stadium graduations. For choice school graduation ceremonies, please let us know if you need an interpreter, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We offer several seating options to support guests with limited mobility and ADA needs:

    • ADA ramps are available at the stadium’s south section for bleacher access, with ten designated spaces for wheelchairs and walkers on the bottom row.
    • The first five rows of bleachers are reserved for guests who need minimal stairs (note: only small groups can be accommodated together).
    • Additional ground-level seating is available on the turf sidelines for wheelchair or walker users, with one folding chair for a companion (no large groups).
    • ASL interpreters will be present on the field at each stadium graduation and will be visible to attendees during the ceremony.

  • Parking

The stadium has limited parking stalls and even less designated handicap parking. While we add more spaces for those with placards, we recommend planning to use the drop-off area and parking off-site, as parking is first-come, first-serve.  Complimentary overflow parking is available at Bothell United Methodist Church for all four ceremonies, and at Bothell High School for the 6 pm ceremonies. Please avoid parking at BHS during the afternoon, as dismissal is at 3:15 pm.
